About RoopRang

Roop Rang was founded in 1947 by the Late Indravadan M. Sheth, who was popularly known as Indu Bhai & Indu kaka. His vision transformed a household enterprise into a successful catering and event decoration company. Primarily specialized in wedding décor, Roop Rang also arranged events such as family-get-together, naming ceremonies, birthday parties, corporate functions, graduation celebrations and the entire spectrum of other social occasions. It merits to mention that Indravadan M. Sheth was then appointed as the President of the Bombay Caterers Association for 20 years. He also served as the Vice-President of the Maharashtra Mandap Decorators & Hirers Association.

Today Roop Rang is spearheaded by his son, Umesh Sheth (MD) who is ably supported by his daughter Chaitali Sheth Shah and son Ankur Sheth who bring new-age ideas for this traditional functions & Events. Umesh Sheth’s astute foresight and incisive actions have taken the venture up by many notches. It is now one of the foremost decorators in Pan India organizing more than 300 events annually.

Since its inception in 1947 Roop Rang is registered as an ‘A-Grade’ contractor with Central Government of India, State Government of Maharashtra, MCGM and PWD of Maharashtra. Since then we have the advantage of setting up election venues (polling booths, Central polling station, counting section and public meeting) for the general and state elections.

Roop Rang is situated on the western side of Santacruz, a prime location of Mumbai. It’s very much approachable as it located near to the Railway station and S.V. road. Rang’s Regional Administrative office has conference room which is installed with modern gadgets.

All our equipment, furnishings and other paraphernalia is stocked at our own storage facility. This storage facility is huge spreading over 2500 sq feet and is a part of a popular commercial building. Around 10,000 sq ft warehouses are located in different parts of Western and Central Mumbai.

Umesh Sheth

Son of Indravadan M. Sheth, Umesh Sheth comes with his prowess in Marketing. As the MD, he works towards the advancement of the company and dwells in drawing up expansion plans for its success.

Chaitali Sheth Shah

A graduate of IHM, she drew upon her expertise of catering to make Roop Rang a credible brand name. Creating new dishes that appeal to the millennial taste and ‘wow’ factor, Chaitali also systematized the flow of catering services to make the entire facility a perfect endeavor. She is also the partner of our sister business, the Splendid Cake Shop.
